Pursuant to section 5A(4) of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

John Andrew Walker, District Court Judge of Wellington

to be Acting Chief District Court Judge for the period commencing on 17 March 2015 and expiring on 12 April 2015.
