✨ Veterans' Support and Early Childhood Service Notices

NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 132 — 3 DECEMBER 2015

In accordance with section 9 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014 (“the Act”), I hereby give the following notice.

Notice

a. I declare that the declaration of emergency status under the War Pensions Act 1954 for service with United Nations Mine Action Coordination Centre in Southern Lebanon, which was made by the Honourable Nathan Guy on 25 June 2012, has been superseded by the declaration of operational service for service with United Nations in Southern Lebanon, which I made on 6 August 2015.

b. All members of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), and any person seconded to the NZDF with the permission of the Chief of the Defence Force, covered by this declaration shall have access to the entitlements and services specified in the Act and the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.

c. I am satisfied that there is a significant risk of harm to those that undertake this service, as required by the Act.

Declaration of Operational Service for the Purposes of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014

In accordance with section 9 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014 (“the Act”), I hereby give the following notice.

Notice

a. I declare that the declaration of emergency status under the War Pensions Act 1954 for service with United Nations Supervision Mission in Syria, which was made by the Honourable Nathan Guy on 19 September 2012, has been superseded by the declaration of operational service for service with United Nations in the Syrian Arab Republic, which I made on 6 August 2015.

c. I am satisfied that there is a significant risk of harm to those that undertake this service, as required by the Act.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Service

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 February 2014, which was granted under those Regulations to Jan Gourley in respect of The Nanny Company Limited – North (70013), situated at 506 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
