Revocation of Christchurch International Airport and Invercargill Airport as Places of First Arrival (Notice No. MPI 574)
Pursuant to section 37B of the Biosecurity Act 1993 (“the Act”), I hereby give notice that, being satisfied that the provisions of section 37(1) of the Act are no longer being met, I revoke the approval of Christchurch International Airport and Invercargill Airport as places of first arrival for craft.

Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Tobacco Products Indexation and Separate 10% Increase) Amendment Order 2015
Notice is hereby given of the making, pursuant to section 79 of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, of an order adjusting the excise and excise-equivalent duties on tobacco products.

Title of order—This order is the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Tobacco Products Indexation and Separate 10% Increase) Amendment Order 2015.

Commencement—The order shall come into force on 1 January 2016.

Effect of order—This order will adjust the excise and excise-equivalent duties on tobacco products to reflect the movement in the Consumers Price Index (excluding credit services) over the 12-month period ending on 30 September 2015 and to provide for a separate 10% increase as required by section 79(3A) of the Customs and Excise Act 1996.
