Notice of Granting an Open Aviation Market Licence and Variation of an Open Aviation Market Licence

Pursuant to sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to delegations from the Secretary for Transport dated 10 September 2013, I give notice that Martin Matthews, Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of Transport, has:

a. Pursuant to section 87U(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, having received an application from Malaysia Airlines Berhad of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, granted that airline an Open Aviation Market Licence to carry on scheduled services and non-scheduled flights for an indefinite term with effect from 1 September 2015; and

b. pursuant to section 87X(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, varied the Open Aviation Market Licence granted to Malaysia Airline System Berhad to provide for that Licence to expire on 1 September 2015.

Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 10 September 2013, I hereby give notice that the Secretary for Transport has varied the terms of the Scheduled International Air Service Licence issued to China Southern Airlines permitting the airline to increase its operating capacity from 14 to 21 return services per week with any aircraft type.

This variation took effect on 6 September 2015.
