Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004

Wellington Regional Airshed Notice 2014

Pursuant to Regulation 3(1)(b) of the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004, the Minister for the Environment makes the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Wellington Regional Airshed Notice 2014.
   (2) This notice comes into force on 1 September 2014.

2. Airsheds established—(1) The areas described in the Schedule are separate airsheds for the Wellington region as specified by the Minister for the purposes of the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004.
   (2) Any areas within the Wellington region which are not covered by the separate airsheds described in this notice form a single airshed for that region.

3. Revocation—The Wellington Regional Airshed Notice 2005, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 25 August 2005, No. 141, page 3431, is revoked.

Misuse of Drugs Act 1975

Approval of Lakes Opioid Treatment Service and Clinician to Provide Substitution Treatment Under Section 24 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975

Pursuant to section 24(7)(b) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, Arran Culver, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Health, specify the Lakes Opioid Treatment Service as a service that may provide treatment with controlled drugs for people who are dependent on controlled drugs, at the following places:

Te Ngako Community Mental Health Services
1144 Pukaki Street
Rotorua 3010; and

Ruia Te Hua Oranga
3 Gascoigne Street
Taupo 3330.

And, pursuant to section 24(7)(a) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Health, I specify

Dr Jeremy Bruce McMinn

as a medical practitioner, may:

(a) prescribe, administer or supply controlled drugs for the treatment of dependence to controlled drugs as the lead clinician for Lakes Opioid Treatment Service;

(b) authorise in writing service/clinic medical practitioners as specified under subsection (2)(b) to:

(i) prescribe, administer or supply controlled drugs for the treatment of dependence;

(ii) to authorise in writing general practitioners receiving clients from Lakes Opioid Treatment Service as specified under subsection (2)(d); and

(c) authorise in writing general practitioners receiving clients from Lakes Opioid Treatment Service as specified under subsection (2)(d).

Conditions

1. Controlled drugs may only be prescribed, administered or supplied to people who are or have been clients of Lakes Opioid Treatment Service.

2. This approval expires on 31 October 2014.
