Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel Recommendation on the Canterbury Earthquake (Education Legislation) Order 2014

Pursuant to section 73(6) of the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Act 2011 (“the Act”), the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel Recommendation on the Canterbury Earthquake (Education Legislation) Order 2014.

2. Review Panel Recommendation—The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel made the following recommendation under section 73(3) of the Act to the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery and the Minister of Education:

   The review panel recommends to the Minister of Education and the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery that the order be made.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel Recommendation on the Canterbury Earthquake (Christchurch Replacement District Plan) Order 2014.

2. Review Panel Recommendation—The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel made the following recommendation under section 73(3) of the Act to the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery and the Minister for the Environment:

   The review panel recommends to the Minister for the Environment that the Canterbury Earthquake (Christchurch Replacement District Plan) Order 2014 be made without change.

Education Act 1989

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Murupara Area School Board of Trustees (658)

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Murupara Area School Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise).

A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following matters:

• Consolidating all new and improved systems into board management practice; and
• exercising its governance powers.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, I hereby declare that Rolleston Christian School, Rolleston, will become a state integrated school from 1 January 2015.

The said integration agreement was executed on 30 July 2014.
