Local Government (Hamilton City and Waipa District) Boundary Alteration Notice 2014

Pursuant to clause 5(1)(b) of Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Local Government Act 2002, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Local Government (Hamilton City and Waipa District) Boundary Alteration Notice 2014.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date on which it is published in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Boundary alteration—The boundaries of Hamilton City and Waipa District are altered by excluding the area described in the Schedule to this notice from Waipa District and including it in Hamilton City.

3. Wards—The area described in the Schedule to this notice ceases to form part of the Pirongia Ward of Waipa District and forms part of the West Ward of Hamilton City.

Area Excluded From Waipa District and Included in Hamilton City

1. That part of Lot 1 DPS 88403 that prior to the coming into force of this notice was part of Waipa District, comprising approximately 14.1360 hectares.
