Redesignation of Te Kura o Whatatutu, Gisborne (2739) as a Kura Kaupapa Māori

Pursuant to section 154A of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Te Kura o Whatatutu will be redesignated as a kura kaupapa Māori school on 21 July 2014.

1. The name of the school will be Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Whatatutu.
2. The school will operate in accordance with Te Aho Matua.

Special characteristics

The whānau of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Whatatutu commit totally to the guiding principles outlined in Te Aho Matua that:
