ESTATE OF JOHN LOGAN CAMPBELL
Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme
Under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
CIV-2014-404-1169
Notice is hereby given that the trustees of the estate of John Logan Campbell, a charitable trust registered under the Charities Act 2005 as CC27100, have made application to the High Court at Auckland for the approval of a scheme under section 34 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.
The application is to be heard before the High Court at Auckland on Monday 28 July 2014 at 10.00am.
The trust’s charitable purposes include distributing the income each year as directed by the will of Sir John Logan Campbell, testator, for which probate was issued on 29 July 1912.
Generally, charitable objects will fall into the categories of relief of poverty, advancement of education and other purposes beneficial to the community.
The scheme proposes to extend the investment powers of the trustees.
The investment powers sought are standard investment powers under the Trustee Act 1956 appropriate to the standard of a prudent trustee and reflect current best practice in terms of the management of trust funds.
Any person desiring to oppose the application is required to give written notice of intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Auckland, the Attorney-General and to the trustee at the address below not less than seven clear days before the date of the hearing.
This notice is given by DLA Phillips Fox, Level 22, 205 Queen Street, Auckland 1010 (Attention: John Hannan) acting for the applicant, trustees of the estate of John Logan Campbell.

Requirement to Consult on Proposal to Incorporate Material by Reference
Pursuant to section 51 of the Legislation Act 2012, the Chief Executive, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
Availability of standards proposed to be incorporated into the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010.
It is proposed to incorporate Amendment 2 to NZS 6115:2006: Electrical installations – Mobile medical facilities into the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010.
NZS 6115:2006: Electrical installations – Mobile medical facilities: Amendment 2 permits the use of fittings that comply with AS/NZS 3123: Approval and test specification – Plugs, sockets and couplers for general industrial application.
The standard is available for inspection, at no charge, between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday at:
- The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment office located at 33 Bowen Street, Wellington.
- WorkSafe New Zealand office located at Unisys House, 56 The Terrace, Wellington.
The amendment may also be obtained, at no charge, by contacting info@energysafety.co.nz.
