A meltwater stream flowing east along the true left margin of the lower portion of Taylor Glacier into the western end of Lake Bonney, approximately 17km east of Ferrar Glacier. 77°43'17"S, 162°14'41"E (mouth of the stream at elevation 116m). NZ Ant50 MF09 Lake Bonney, and USGS ST57-60/6 Ross Island. New name for a feature not formally named, but locally used.
A clearly defined and continuous tract of sand dunes trending east–west for approximately 8km from the northern shores of Lake Vida towards Lower Victoria Glacier, at elevation 395m. 77°22'30"S, 162°08'37"E. NZ Ant50 MF09 Lake Bonney, ME09 Lake Brownworth, and USGS ST57-60/6 Ross Island. New name for a feature not formally named, but locally used.

Notice of Proposals to Assign or Alter Geographic Names
Pursuant to section 16 of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008 (“Act”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa hereby gives notice of proposals to assign new or alter existing geographic names.
The proposed new or altered geographic names are specified in the first column of the Schedule below.
The geographic feature type that each proposed new or altered geographic name relates to is set out in the second column of the Schedule.
The description of each proposed new or altered geographic name is set out in the third column of the Schedule.
The date by which submissions must be received is provided in the fourth column of the Schedule.
Submissions on the proposed new or altered geographic names may be provided in writing to the Secretary of the New Zealand Geographic Board, c/o Land Information New Zealand, PO Box 5501, Wellington 6145. In accordance with section 17 of the Act, submissions must state, with reasons, whether the proposal is supported or objected to and if an objection is made, then submissions may set out an alternative proposal, or support the existing name, if any.
