Telecommunications Act 2001

Notification of the Commerce Commission’s Final Telecommunications Development Levy Liability Allocation Determination for the Period Between 1 July 2012 and 30 June 2013

On 27 May 2014, the Commerce Commission, pursuant to section 87 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), prepared a Final Liability Allocation Determination for the purpose of the Telecommunications Development Levy (TDL) for the period between 1 July 2012 and 30 June 2013.

Pursuant to sections 87(1)(b) and 6 of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its TDL Final Liability Allocation Determination.

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Industry (Exemption No. 200 (Contact Energy Limited)) Exemption Notice 2014.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Exemption—Contact Energy Limited (“Contact”) is exempted from complying with the obligation in 10.14(2)(b).
