Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Further to a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette,
6 March 2014, No. 27, page 787, and pursuant to section 87J(6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 28, 29 and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 29 October 2013, and a sub-delegation from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Transport dated 3 November 2013, I give notice that having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for:

  • capacity, on a non-stop basis, to Narita Airport to be as filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport; and
  • an increase in the airline’s capacity entitlement to Vanuatu to three return services per week.

The variation took effect from 8 April 2014.

This airworthiness directive will come into force on:

Notice of Fixing of Electoral Boundaries

The Representation Commission hereby gives notice that it has fixed the names and boundaries of the General and Māori electoral districts of New Zealand in accordance with sections 40 and 45 of the Electoral Act 1993.

The names and boundaries in text and map form can be viewed on the website www.elections.org.nz (click on Electoral Events).

Those names and boundaries are also available for public inspection without charge at the following places:

  1. The offices of all Registrars of Electors.
  2. Te Puni Kōkiri (regional development offices) at Auckland, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin, Gisborne, Hamilton, Hastings, Invercargill, Kaitaia, Lower Hutt, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Taumarunui, Tauranga, Wellington, Whakatane, Whanganui and Whangarei.
