Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for pedestrian walkway and shall vest in the Whangarei District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land and Easement Acquired for Motorway Purposes—Western Ring Route (Roads of National Significance: Waterview Connection Project) – Great North Road, Auckland
Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the lands described in the First Schedule to this notice are hereby acquired for motorway purposes, and the easement over the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice (being appurtenant to the land first described in the First Schedule to this notice) is hereby acquired on the terms and conditions described in the Third Schedule to this notice and further declares that the said land and easement shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Rights and Powers in Right of Way Easement
The implied rights and powers in the Fourth Schedule to the Land Transfer Regulations 2002, and the Fifth Schedule to the Property Law Act 2007, shall apply to the easement except that the rights set out in:
(a) Clauses 11(1), 11(2), 11(3), 11(4) and 11(7) of the Fourth Schedule to the Land Transfer Regulations 2002; and in
(b) Clause 2(d) of the Fifth Schedule to the Property Law Act 2007
are specifically excluded.
