Notice Relating to Material Incorporated by Reference in Maritime Rules
Under section 452 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand gives notice that new Parts 31, 32 and 34 of the maritime rules, signed on 27 January 2014, and coming into force on 1 April 2014, incorporate the following material by reference:

The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978 (STCW Convention) (IMO Code: IC938E).
The Seafarers’ Training, Certification and Watchkeeping Code (STCW Code) (IMO Code IC938E).
The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Fishing Vessel Personnel 1995 and Resolutions (STCW-F Convention) (IMO Code: I915E).
Material incorporated by reference in Part 31 of the maritime rules:
