Notice of Claim

This notice is pursuant to section 101(2) of the Public Trust Act 2001.

To all creditors and claimants of WATERTIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED (a company that ceased trading in November 2004):

The sum of $80,000.00 has been paid to Public Trust to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has now been lodged by the shareholders of WATERTIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less associated costs, to WATERTIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, subject to no notice of an alternative claim being received on or prior to 10 April 2014.

Any persons having any interest in priority to the claimant must submit a claim to Public Trust, PO Box 13245, Tauranga Central, Tauranga 3141 (Attention: Trish Voelkerling) on or prior to the above-mentioned date.

Electricity Act 1992

Notice of Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board

The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board (“the Board”), having been directed by the Board in accordance with section 147Z(2) of the Electricity Act 1992, gives notice that the following registered electrical worker having been disciplined by the Board under Part 11 of the Electricity Act 1992, and the effect of the decisions or orders of the Board:

Christopher David Gainford (E 248184), in relation to work carried out at a property in Palmerston North about or during February and March 2013, was found guilty of negligently creating a risk of serious harm to any person or a risk of significant property damage, through having carried out prescribed electrical work contrary to section 143(b)(ii) of the Electricity Act 1992, and failed to comply with a term or condition of his registration or licence contrary to section 143(c) of the Electricity Act 1992.

Christopher David Gainford was suspended from registering until such time as he passes a specified examination, being the electrician level written regulations examination, fined $6,000.00 and ordered to pay costs of $250.00.

In relation to work carried out at a property in Wanganui during February 2012, Christopher David Gainford was found guilty of negligently creating a risk of serious harm to any person or a risk of significant property damage.

Christopher David Gainford was suspended from registering for two years, and any re-instatement is subject to the Board being satisfied that the specified examination has been passed, fined $7,000.00 and ordered to pay costs of $250.00.
