Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Permissions and Statutory Land Management Manager of the Department of Conservation gives notice of the disposal in fee simple of the land described in the Schedule for a consideration of $90,000.00 (excluding GST).

Revocation of a Notice Declaring Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987 and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby revokes the notice (ln60) dated the 11th day of December 2013, declaring the Rangipo Dam and Intake to be exempt from section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 January 2014, No. 1, page 42, and issues the following notice in its place.

Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

Pursuant to section 24B(4)(b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, which deals with the reservation of marginal strips, shall not apply to the disposition of the land described in the Schedule hereto to Genesis Energy Limited.

The land is the Rangipo Dam and Intake, areas that are required in connection with electricity works as part of the Tongariro Power Scheme.

Amendment to a Notice Declaring Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby amends the notice (ln56) dated the 11th day of December 2013, declaring the land comprising the Rotoaira Channel and Poutu Dam and Canal to be exempt from section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 January 2014, No. 1, page 42, by omitting the word "Pouto"
and replacing it with

"Poutu".

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby amends the notice (ln57) dated the 12th day of December 2013, declaring the land comprising the Rangipo Outlet and the Poutu Intake to be exempt from section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 January 2014, No. 1, page 42, by omitting the word "Pouto"
and replacing it with

"Poutu";
and omitting

"SO 450059"

from the Schedule to the notice and replacing it with

"SO 450095".

from the Schedule to the notice and replacing them with

and

respectively.
