Notice of Dollar-Per-Stock-Unit Rates Under Part 1A of the Crown Pastoral Land Act 1998
Pursuant to section 23L(1)(a) of the Crown Pastoral Land Act 1998, I give notice of dollar-per-stock-unit rates calculated using the method specified in the Crown Pastoral Land (Method for Calculating Dollar-Per-Stock-Unit Rates) Regulations 2012 (as amended by the Crown Pastoral Land (Method for Calculating Dollar-Per-Stock-Unit Rates) Amendment Regulations 2012).
For the purposes of Part 1A of the Crown Pastoral Land Act 1998, the dollar-per-stock-unit rate for pastoral leases with rent reviews in 2014 is $7.11.

Maree Zinzley, Manager (Approvals Operations) of the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MPI, gives notice, under section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“the Act”), that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:
Trade Name: Yates Tomato & Vegetable Dust

Active Ingredients and Concentrations:
- Spinetoram 0.25g/kg
- Copper as copper oxychloride 40g/kg
- Sulphur as elemental sulphur 400g/kg
Formulation Type: Dustable Powder
General Use Claims:
A ready to use dust that kills and controls some of the major insect pests and diseases on tomatoes and vegetable brassicas.
Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application. Under sections 16 and 17 of the Act, a written submission:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and
(b) may state any decision sought on that application; and
(c) must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
Under section 18 of the Act, a copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 1) 2014 (Notice No. MPI 322)
Pursuant to Regulation 9 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, the Director Māori Partnership Implementation at the Ministry for Primary Industries (acting pursuant to delegated authority in accordance with section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988) gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 1) 2014.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on 27 February 2014.
- Interpretation—(1) In this notice, "area/rohe moana" means the area from Koukourārata (Port Levy) to Pōhatu Pa (Flea Bay) as defined under Regulation 2 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, extending seaward to the limit of the South Island fisheries waters being the 200-mile limit.
(2) Other terms used in this notice have the same meaning as in the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999.

Nomination of Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki—Te Rūnanga o Koukourārata, representing the whānau and hapū of Ngāi Tahu Whānui holding manawhenua manamoana over the area/rohe moana (as represented by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu), has nominated Meri Crofts as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for managing customary food-gathering within the area/rohe moana for a further five-year term.

Appointment of Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki—(1) On 15 February 2014, the Minister for Primary Industries appointed, under Regulation 9(5) of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, Meri Crofts as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for managing customary food-gathering in the area/rohe moana.
