Pursuant to section 48(1)(a) of the Medicines Act 1981,
I, Don Mackie, Chief Medical Officer of the Ministry of Health, under delegated authority from The Honourable Tony Ryall, Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby prohibit the prescribing of Misoprostol by

Dr Kerry Elizabeth Neilson, medical practitioner of Pleasant Point.

District Courts Act 1947

Acting District Court Judges Appointed

Pursuant to sections 10 and 5B of the District Courts Act 1947 and section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Kevin James Glubb, barrister and solicitor of Auckland
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to conduct jury trials for a period of two years commencing on 20 March 2014; and

pursuant to section 10 of the District Courts Act 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Gary Michael Harrison, barrister of Auckland
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand for a period of two years commencing on 31 March 2014.
