Pursuant to section 23(3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed the Auckland Council to have the control and management of the Puhoi Cemetery, being Part Allotment 14A Parish of Puhoi Block XIV Mahurangi Survey District, more particularly shown as Section 1 on SO 433751, as from the date of signing.
