This notice concerns land at 43 McKay Crescent, Dargaville, and Māori claims under the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975.

The land at 43 McKay Crescent, Dargaville, is described in legal terms as Lot 88 DP 64614 and comprised in Certificate of Title NA80D/111 (North Auckland Land Registry).

The land was once owned by the Crown. It was transferred to a State enterprise under section 23 of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986.

There is a special notice of "memorial" on the certificate of title for the land which provides that, if the Waitangi Tribunal so recommends, the land shall be resumed by the Crown and returned to Māori ownership (see sections 27A and 27B of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, sections 212 and 213 of the Education Act 1989 or section 39 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Restructuring Act 1990).

The current owner of the land, SUSAN MARY CRUMP, has applied to the Waitangi Tribunal to have this memorial removed.

The application has been made under section 8D of the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975.

ANY MĀORI PERSON WHO CONSIDERS THAT THEY, OR ANY GROUP TO WHICH THEY BELONG, HAS A CLAIM TO MAKE TO THE WAITANGI TRIBUNAL ABOUT THIS LAND SHOULD SUBMIT THEIR CLAIM TO THE TRIBUNAL BEFORE 11 MARCH 2015.

Section 6 of the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975 sets out the grounds for making a claim.

Under section 6AA of the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975, only new contemporary claims may now be submitted to the Waitangi Tribunal.

The tribunal has no jurisdiction to enquire into new historical claims submitted after 1 September 2008.

Claims should be posted to The Registrar, Waitangi Tribunal, DX SX11237, Wellington 6145, or delivered to The Registrar, Waitangi Tribunal, Level 7, 141 The Terrace, Wellington 6011.

If no claim about this land is made to the Waitangi Tribunal before 11 March 2015, the tribunal may recommend that the land be no longer subject to resumption by the Crown and be returned to Māori.

Easements Acquired for a Right to Drain Water—State Highway 29, Lower Kaimai, Western Bay of Plenty District

Pursuant to sections 20(1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jemma Cooper, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, agreements to that effect having being entered into:

a. The easement firstly described in the Second Schedule to this notice is acquired over the land of Celine Bradley, Denis Anthony Bradley and TDR Trustees Limited ("Grantor") firstly described in the First Schedule to this notice, subject to section 5 of the Coal Mines Act 1979 and Encumbrance 7053377.1, and excluding
