Issue of Code of Welfare: Rodeos (Notice No. MPI 390)

I hereby give notice that, under sections 75 and 76 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Code of Welfare: Rodeos is issued on 30 October 2014, being the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette, and comes into effect on 31 October 2014, being the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.

This Code replaces the Animal Welfare (Rodeos) Code of Welfare 2003*.

The Code is available for inspection free of charge and for purchase at the following address:
