This exemption applies on and from 1 November 2014 until 5.00pm on 12 December 2014, unless cancelled earlier under Regulation 21(5) of the Regulations, subject to the exempt adventure activity operator meeting the condition described below.

The effect of the exemption is that the exempt adventure activity operators may provide adventure activities to participants without being registered to provide them under the Regulations.

For each exempt adventure activity operator, this exemption is conditional on the Registrar receiving a safety audit certificate from a recognised safety auditor certifying that the operator meets the requirements of the Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Activities – Requirements for a safety audit of operators (March 2013) no later than 5.00pm on 1 December 2014.

If this condition is not met in respect of an exempt adventure activity operator, this exemption will cease to have effect and the relevant operator will need to cease providing adventure activities from that date until the operator is registered.

To avoid doubt, adventure activity operators not covered by this exemption must be registered by 1 November 2014 or, on and from 1 November 2014, cease providing adventure activities until they are registered to do so.

Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991

Notice of Approval for Land to be Sold, Otherwise Disposed Of or Modified, Pursuant to Section 5 of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991

Under the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, I, Dr Nick Smith, Minister of Conservation, hereby approve the sale of the following parcel of land currently vested in the Grey District Council, being part of the land described in Part C of the Schedule to the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, under the description “Greymouth Harbour Lands” and being more particularly described in the following Schedule.

Schedule

Residential land proposed for sale by the Grey District Council, pursuant to the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1982 and the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991.
