To all creditors and claimants of 4THOUGHT LIMITED (a company that ceased trading on 1 October 2013):

The sum of $5,976.34 has been paid to Public Trust to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has now been lodged by the shareholder of 4THOUGHT LIMITED.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less associated costs, to 4THOUGHT LIMITED, subject to no notice of an alternative claim being received on or prior to 17 October 2014.

Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978

Applications to Import/Export, Collect and Hold Marine Mammals

Pursuant to section 5(5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director, Conservation Partnerships South and Eastern South Island Region, notifies that he has received applications from Otago Museum for the issue of three permits; retrospective permit to hold marine mammals, permit to collect and hold marine mammals for the purpose of research, and permit to import/export marine mammal materials.

A copy of the application can be obtained from the Department of Conservation, Christchurch Shared Services Unit, Private Bag 4715, Christchurch Mail Centre, Christchurch 8140.

Any person wishing to make a submission on this application can do so by writing to the Director Conservation Partnerships South and Eastern South Island Region, c/o Bethan Parry, Christchurch Shared Services Unit, Private Bag 4715, Christchurch Mail Centre, Christchurch 8140, within 28 days after publication of this notice.

Unless a person making a submission states to the contrary in the submission, that person will be deemed to give his/her consent to the release under the Official Information Act 1982 of all the information in the submission.
