Land Acquired in Connection With a Regional Park—Beach Road, Long Bay, Auckland

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired in connection with a regional park and shall vest in the Auckland Council subject as to the land firstly described in the Schedule to this notice to a Fencing Agreement in Deed 6579762.4 and as to the land secondly described in the Schedule to this notice to a Fencing Agreement in Deed 6579770.5 affecting that part formerly Lot 1 DP 157590, on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to sections 17(1) and 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the portion of land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for water reservoir and shall vest in the Hauraki District Council, subject to existing easements held in B.044445.24 on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway 87, Clarkes Junction to Lee Stream, Outram, Dunedin

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road firstly described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT9C/109, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987;

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road secondly described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT13D/504, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987;

(d) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road thirdly and fourthly described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 607847, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987,

Notice of Intention to Take Land for a Water Reservoir—403 Old North Road, Kumeu, Auckland

Notice is hereby given that Watercare Services Limited, pursuant to section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take land described in the Schedule hereto (“the land”).

The land is required as part of the Kumeu-Huapai Riverhead Water Supply Scheme and it is intended to use the land for a water reservoir.

The intended taking is considered reasonably necessary for the supply of water as part of the Kumeu-Huapai Riverhead Water Supply Scheme, and after investigation, it has been determined that the land provides the most suitable site for the establishment of the water reservoir.

The owner of the land and those persons with a registered interest in it have been served with notice of Watercare Services Limited’s intention to take the land and advised of their right to object.

Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Ministry of Justice, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing will be held.
