Pursuant to section 31F of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Recognition as a Lead Provider of Secondary-Tertiary Programme Notice 2013.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Recognised lead providers—The following industry training organisation is recognised as a lead provider of a secondary-tertiary programme:

Primary Industry Training Organisation, Wellington.

Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice for Matangi School (1814), Hamilton, and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Whānau Tahi (1618), Christchurch

Pursuant to clause 9(3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I declare invalid the elections for parent representatives for the boards of trustees of Matangi School and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Whānau Tahi, require new elections to be held on 6 June 2013, and declare that the elected representatives who held office on the date of the invalid election remain in office until the close of the day before the day on which the new trustees take office following the new election.

This notice takes effect the day of publication.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Wanganui Assembly of God Property Trust Board (Attendance Dues) Notice 2013

Under section 36(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I approve that the attendance dues payable to Wanganui Assembly of God Property Trust Board in respect of any pupil at Faith Academy (Wanganui) shall be a maximum of $345.00 (exclusive of GST) per pupil per annum.

Supplementary Integration Agreements

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, acting through the Acting Group Manager, Regional Education, Early Childhood and Regional Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:

  • Chanel College, Masterton (244).
  • Holy Family School, Porirua East (2859).
  • St Anthony’s School, Seatoun (2999).
  • St Bernard’s School, Brooklyn (3002).
  • Sacred Heart School, Reefton (3219).

The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on 15 April 2013.
