Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Local Purpose Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the council on 6 November 2012:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district in an estate in fee simple (formerly stopped road) and described in the Schedule shall be and the same is hereby declared to be gazetted a local purpose (accessway and recreation) reserve and pursuant to Section 16(2) of the Act is deemed to be classified for that purpose.”
