Total allowable catch—(1) The Schedule of the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice (No. 4) 2003 (No. F275), (New Zealand Gazette, 4 December 2003, No. 166, page 4609 – go8019), is varied by replacing the total allowable catch figures of the quota management stocks described in the Schedule below (Columns 1, 2 and 3) by the respective figures set out in Column 4 below.

Total allowable commercial catch—The Schedule of the Fisheries (Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Notice (No. 3) 2003 (No. F276), (New Zealand Gazette, 4 December 2003, No. 166, page 4609 – go8018), is varied by replacing the total allowable commercial catch figures of the quota management stocks described in the Schedule below (Columns 1, 2 and 3) by the respective figures set out in Column 5 below.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice comes into force on 31 March 2013. It sets the total allowable catch (TAC) and total allowable commercial catch (TACC) figures that apply from 1 April 2013 as follows:
- DAN8-TAC increased to 236 tonnes; TACC increased to 214 tonnes
- MM18-TAC increased to 631 tonnes; TACC increased to 589 tonnes
- SAE8-TAC increased to 1821 tonnes; TACC increased to 1720 tonnes
- PDO8-TAC increased to 296 tonnes; TACC increased to 262 tonnes.

Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Amendment Notice 2013 (Notice No. MPI 142)
Pursuant to section 188 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Deep Water Fisheries Manager, Ministry for Primary Industries (acting pursuant to a delegated authority in accordance with section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988), gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title—(1) This notice is the Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Amendment Notice 2013 and is part of the principal notice.
(2) In this notice, "principal notice" means the Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Notice 2011 (No. F607)*.

Commencement—This notice comes into effect on 1 April 2013.

Part 13 and Part 14 of Schedule 1 of the principal notice are amended by omitting from the heading the code "TRF" and substituting the code "UTF".

Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the principal notice is amended by omitting from the column headed "Headed and gutted", in respect of the item relating to barracouta (BAR), the expression "1.45" and substituting the expression "1.35".

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 2) 2013 (Notice No. MPI 146)
Pursuant to Regulation 22 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, the Director Māori Partnership Implementation at the Ministry for Primary Industries (acting pursuant to a delegated authority in accordance with section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988) gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 2) 2013.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on 3 April 2013.
- Interpretation—(1) In this notice:
"mātaitai reserve" means the area described in clause 4(1).
(2) Terms used in this notice have the same meaning as in the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999.
