Conservation Act 1987

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Conservation Area and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 50A of Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Acting Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Authorisation of Exchange of Conservation Area for Other Land dated the 13th day of September 2011 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 September 2011, No. 141, page 4079, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place:

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes and Authorisation of Exchange of Conservation Area for Other Land

Under section 7(1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Acting Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, declares that the land described in the First Schedule is held for conservation purposes, and further, under section 16A of that Act, authorises the exchange of that land described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule and specifies that the land held in the latter Schedule be held for conservation purposes.

Education Act 1989

Land Declared No Longer Required for a Teacher’s Residence

Pursuant to section 70A of the Education Act 1989, and pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Kim Shannon, General Manager, Schools Infrastructure Group, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, Frazer Robert Tweedie, Corridor and Security, New Zealand Railways Corporation, hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen for railway purposes on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
