Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On the 12th day of February 2013, I, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, gave a tax indemnity to the trustees of the Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Trust as described under Part 2 of the General Matters Schedule of the Deed of Settlement for Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō signed on 12th February 2013 and which is to apply from the date of such signing (namely 12th February 2013)."
