Authorisation of Exchange of Marginal Strip for Another Strip of Land

Under section 24E(1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Director Conservation Partnerships of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of the marginal strip described in the First Schedule for the strip of land shown in the Second Schedule, which is deemed to be reserved as marginal strip pursuant to section 24E(3) of the Act.

Vesting of a Freehold Interest in Reclaimed Land—North Shore, Auckland

Pursuant to section 39 of the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, I, Brian John Usherwood, Land Information New Zealand, declare that, an agreement having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice shall, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, vest in Bayswater Marina Holdings Limited, subject to sections 10 and 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, and to the restriction on disposition of the freehold interest in the land imposed by section 44 of the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011.

Notice of Intention to Take Land—State Highway 1 Wellington Northern Corridor (Transmission Gully), Porirua City

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Land Information proposes to take, under the Public Works Act 1981, the land described in the Schedule hereto (“land”).

The land is required for construction of the State Highway 1 Wellington Northern Corridor (Transmission Gully) Project (“Project”).

More particularly, the land is required for motorway purposes.

The project is required to cater for increasing traffic volumes and to improve the safety and efficiency of State Highway 1 and the local road network.

The owner of the land and those persons with a registered interest in the land have been served with notice of the Crown’s intention to take the land, and advised of their right to object.

Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, 5th Floor, District Court Building, 49 Ballance Street, Wellington 6011, or by post to DX SX11154, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held with the right of the objector to appear and be heard personally unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.
