Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006

Notice of Proposed Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2014)

The Board of Drug Free Sport New Zealand proposes to make the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2014) (“2014 Rules”) under section 16 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006.

The 2014 Rules will amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2013) and incorporate revised World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards.

It is proposed that the 2014 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards:

(a) World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List International Standard;

(b) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions;

(c) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing;

(d) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories; and

(e) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information.

The draft 2014 Rules and the material incorporated by reference can be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 2, 321 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland.

Electricity Industry Act 2010

Notice of the Electricity Industry Participation (Electricity Information Exchange Protocols) Code Amendment 2013

1. Pursuant to section 38(3)(b) of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Electricity Authority (“Authority”) gives notice of the making of the Electricity Industry Participation (Electricity Information Exchange Protocols) Code Amendment 2013.

2. The amendment comes into force on 16 December 2013.

3. The amendment enables the Authority to publicise electricity information exchange protocols (“EIEPs”) that some distributors and traders must comply with when exchanging information. The amendment also:

• requires the Authority to consult before publicising or amending an EIEP;

• provides that a distributor and trader may agree not to comply with an EIEP;

• provides that the Authority may publicise EIEPs that distributors and traders may choose to use when exchanging information; and

• contains transitional provisions relating to existing EIEPs.

4. A copy of the amendment and of the Code is available on the Authority’s website at www.ea.govt.nz/act-code-regs/code-regs/
