Transpower Individual Price-Quality Path Determination Amendment Notice 2013

Pursuant to section 52Q of Part 4 of the Commerce Act 1986 (“the Act”), the Commerce Commission (“the Commission”) gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Transpower Individual Price-Quality Path Determination Amendment Notice 2013.

2. Transpower Individual Price-Quality Path Determination Amendment 2013—
   (1) On 30 October 2013 the Commission made an amendment (“the Amendment”) under section 52Q of the Act to the Commerce Act (Transpower Individual Price-Quality Path) Determination 2010 (Commerce Commission Decision No. 714, 22 December 2010) (“the Determination”).
   (2) The Amendment updates the forecast MAR for the pricing year from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015 in accordance with Part 3, section 3.3.(2) of the Determination.

(3) The Amendment is effective on 7 November 2013.

3. How the Amendment is publicly available—Copies of the Determination are available for inspection free of charge at the Commission (during ordinary office hours), on the Commission’s website at www.comcom.govt.nz, or for purchase at a reasonable price at the Commission, 44 The Terrace, Wellington.

Notification of Commerce Commission’s Draft Telecommunications Development Levy Liability Allocation Determination for the Period 1 July 2012 and 30 June 2013

On 29 October 2013, pursuant to section 84 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), the Commerce Commission prepared a draft liability allocation determination for the telecommunications development levy for the period 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013.

The closing date for submissions on the draft determination is 19 November 2013 at 5.00pm.

Notification of Review of Pricing of the Standard Terms Determination for the Designated Service of Chorus’s Unbundled Bitstream Access

The Commerce Commission (“Commission”) gives public notice that it has completed a review of the Standard Terms Determination Chorus’s unbundled bitstream access (Commerce Commission Decision 611, 12 December 2007) (“UBA STD”) under section 30R of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“Act”).

The Commission’s decision sets the prices to apply under the UBA STD from 1 December 2014 for the basic unbundled bitstream access service and three enhanced unbundled bitstream access variants, as well as several charges related to that service, including connection and transfer charges.

The Commission has determined that the price for the basic unbundled bitstream access service is $10.92, and that the enhanced unbundled bitstream access variants are $13.25.
