Resource Management Act 1991

Vesting of Reclamation—Tauranga City

Under section 355 of the Resource Management Act 1991 (as saved by section 41 of the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011), the Minister of Conservation vests the fee simple estate of the land described in the First Schedule to this notice in the Tauranga City Council, subject to an easement for the right to drain water and the right to drain sewage over the areas marked “A” and “B” on DP 389860 on the terms set out in the Second Schedule to this notice.

First Schedule

Area Description
0.0784 Lots 1 and 2 DP 389860.

Second Schedule

A right to drain water and right to drain sewage on the terms set out in Schedule 4 of the Land Transfer Regulations 2002 appurtenant to Section 1 SO 57430 and Part Section 73 Block VII Tauranga Survey District contained in Computer Freehold Register SA24C/658.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a church and urupā, to be known as Parirau e Wha Reservation for the common use and benefit of the descendants of the original trustees in whom the land was previously vested and the Māori community of Parirau.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Redefining the Purposes for Which the Reservation is Made and Redefining the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Reservation is Made

Pursuant to sections 338(5)(c) and 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for a pā site, marae, urupā, timber reserve, papakāinga, wāhi tapu, a meeting place, educational purposes (eg. kohanga reo), place of cultural, historical and scenic interest, health centre, water catchment area for the marae and papakāinga for the use or benefit of the uri/descendants of Ngāti Te Rangi, Ngāti Tukorehe, Ngāti Te Rangitawhia, Ngāti Kapumanawawhiti who whakapapa to Tapapa Marae.

All that piece of land situated in Block IV Patetere North Survey District, as contained in Computer Freehold Register 352498 and described as follows:

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an urupā for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Te Oke Waiapu to be known as Ngā Uri o Te Oke Waiapu Māori Reservation.

Gisborne Land District

Schedule

All that piece of land situated in Opape 3A1F1 (Computer Interest Register 623673) and described as follows:

Area Description
0.0900 Identified as Māori Reservation (Urupa Site) 3A1F3 Block 900m² and contained on plan reference W6105/1 dated November 2010.
