Land Declared Road and Land Set Apart for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road (Segregation Strip)

—State Highway 1, Mercer to Longswamp, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 1 and remains vested in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 52(1), declares that the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) and remains vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Water Supply—No 1 Road, Te Puke, Western Bay of Plenty District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Teresa Buckthought, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for water supply and shall vest in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, subject to easements created by Easement Instrument 9079916.4 (the easements are subject to section 243(a) of the Resource Management Act 1991), on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
