Notice of Exemption From Maritime Rules: 20.5(2)(a); 21.13(1)(b); 31B.10; 40A.59(b), Appendix 7, Table 3B; 40C.12(1)(a); 46.17(1)(a); 46.17(1)(b); 47.65(2); 90.61(1)(d); 91.4(1)
Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemptions:

1 from Maritime Rule 20.5(2)(a) – Operating Limits – Assigning operating limits and operating within assigned limits – Operating limits assigned to a ship under Rule 20.5(1) must be clearly recorded by the surveyor on the certificate required by Rule 21.13(2)(a)

1 from Maritime Rule 21.13(1)(b) – Safe Ship Management Systems – Entry to and conditions to be met in order for ship to remain in Safe Ship Management System – New Zealand Safe Ship Management Certificate issued by Director

1 from Maritime Rule 31B.10 – Crewing and Watchkeeping Offshore, Coastal and Restricted (Non-Fishing Vessels) – Passenger vessels – Enclosed area – Passenger vessels operating in enclosed area must carry seafarer with minimum required qualifications

1 from Maritime Rule 40A.59(b), Appendix 7, Table 3B – Design, Construction and Equipment – Passenger Ships which are not SOLAS Ships – Anchors and cables – Ships operating in restricted limits – Owner of new ship less than 24 metres in length overall must ensure provision of anchors and cables on ship in accordance with the requirements

1 from Maritime Rule 40C.12(1)(a) – Design, Construction and Equipment – Non-Passenger Ships that are not SOLAS Ships – General Non-Passenger Ships – Subdivision and Stability – New ships of 15 metres or more in length overall must be fitted with vertically continuous collision bulkhead that is watertight up to freeboard deck

Authorised Access to Certain Names and Addresses Held on the Motor Vehicle Register
Pursuant to section 241 of the Land Transport Act 1998 ("the Act"), I authorise the following person, for the purpose and the term, and on the conditions stated below, to have access to the names and addresses of persons:
- who are currently registered in respect of a motor vehicle(s); and
- who have not instructed the Registrar of Motor Vehicles to withhold their details.

| Insolvency Management Limited | - Determining who the registered person of a vehicle is that we believe is owned by a company in liquidation or receivership. |
- Tracing the sale of vehicles that were owned by a company in liquidation or receivership where ownership is disputed.
- Ensuring all assets of a company are identified to allow for assets to be insured, and liquidators and receivers to comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 1993 and Receiverships Act 1993. | For a period of five years commencing on 30 August 2013 and ending at midnight on 30 August 2018. |
