Notification of Ordinary Rules
In accordance with section 34(2) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Transport signed the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules on 1 August 2012, which will come into force on 6 September 2012:
Part 121—Air Operations – Large Aeroplanes, Amendment 22 (CAA Docket 6/CAR/5)
Part 1—Definitions and Abbreviations, Amendment 45 (CAA Docket 6/CAR/5)
Part 119—Air Operations – Certification, Amendment 13 (CAA Docket 6/CAR/5)
Part 141—Aviation Training Organisations – Certification, Amendment 2 (CAA Docket 6/CAR/5)

Effective Date of Amendment to Material Incorporated by Reference into Civil Aviation Rules
In accordance with section 36(5) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the following amendment to material incorporated by reference under section 36(1) of the Act into the Civil Aviation Rule Part 121 shall take effect on 6 September 2012:
Training Manual Part E-1 Cabin Personnel, ICAO Doc 7192-AN/857 – Cabin Attendants’ Safety Training, Chapter 8

Electricity Industry Act 2010
Notice of Adoption of Replacement Policy Statement

Pursuant to clause 5(c) of Schedule 1 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010 (“Act”), I give notice that the Electricity Authority (“Authority”) adopts a replacement policy statement for the purposes of clause 8.9 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (“Code”).

The adoption of the policy statement has effect from 1 September 2012.

The policy statement is a document incorporated by reference into the Code as having legal effect in accordance with section 32 of the Act.

A copy of the policy statement and the Code is available on the Authority’s website

A copy of the policy statement and the Code may also be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Authority, Level 7, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.
