This system replaces the Animal Health Board (AHB) Identification System approved on 3 October 1999. The AHB Identification System now:

• defines the sole identifying device approved for use in the AHB Identification System to be National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) devices issued under the terms of an animal identification standard issued by the NAIT organisation under section 14 of the NAIT Act 2012;
• ceases to include specifications for any other type of approved primary tag;
• ceases to require the use of secondary tags; and
• ceases to provide the option to fit direct to slaughter tags.

Marlborough–Kaikoura Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2012 Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to sections 4(1) and 8(1) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the Marlborough–Kaikoura Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2012, published in the New Zealand Gazette*, 22 December 2011, No. 200, page 5742, is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule set out as follows:

“Schedule

All those parcels of land above the mean low water mark, shown on SO 6824 labelled “Marlborough District” and SO 6823, labelled “Kaikoura District”, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington, but excluding all “fire districts” as defined in section 2 of the Fire Service Act
