Notification of Clarification of the Standard Terms Determinations Chorus’s Unbundled Bitstream Access and Unbundled Bitstream Access Backhaul
Pursuant to section 58(2) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), the Commerce Commission ("Commission") gives public notice that it has amended the standard terms determinations for the designated services Chorus’s unbundled bitstream access (Commerce Commission Decision 611, 7 November 2007) and Chorus’s unbundled bitstream access backhaul (Commerce Commission Decision 617, 27 June 2008) under section 58(1) of the Act.
The UBA and UBA Backhaul Standard Terms Determination Clarification 2012 (2012 NZCC 12) aligns the biannual review dates with the annual review dates used in other Commission determinations, updates the labour index, and makes other minor corrections to the determinations.

Notice of the Electricity Industry Participation (Demand-side Bidding and Forecasting) Code Amendment 2011, Amendment 2012

Pursuant to section 38(3)(b) of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Electricity Authority ("Authority") gives notice of the making of the Electricity Industry Participation (Demand-side Bidding and Forecasting) Code Amendment 2011, Amendment 2012 ("Amendment").

The Amendment comes into force on 27 June 2012.

The Amendment:
(a) amends the commencement time of the part of the Electricity Industry Participation (Demand-side Bidding and Forecasting) Code Amendment 2011 ("Principal Amendment") which was going to come into force at 12.00 midnight on 28 June 2012, to 1.30pm on 28 June 2012;
(b) includes a transitional provision to cover the period from 12.30pm on 28 June 2012 to 2.30pm on 28 June 2012; and
(c) makes three minor technical amendments. -
Copies of the Amendment, the Principal Amendment, and the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 ("Code") are available on the Authority’s website:

Notice of the Policy Statement (Demand-side Bidding and Forecasting) Amendment 2012

Under clause 5(c) of Schedule 1 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Electricity Authority ("Authority") adopts the amendment entitled Policy Statement (Demand-side Bidding and Forecasting) Amendment 2012 ("Amendment") as having legal effect.

The Amendment amends the Policy Statement, which was incorporated by reference on 1 September 2011 into the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 ("Code").

The Amendment aligns the Policy Statement with the Electricity Industry Participation (Demand-side Bidding and Forecasting) Code Amendment 2011.

The Amendment comes into force at 1.30pm on 28 June 2012.
