Non-medicinal products

No other products are approved to be located in the vending machines.

This approval is issued subject to the following conditions:

  1. The approval applies only to the vending machines, general sales medicines and approved non-medicinal products (if any) specified in this document.

  2. The vending machines must be located inside buildings, in clean, well-ventilated and well-lit areas, excluding toilet areas.

  3. The approval must be available to be viewed by a Medicines Control Officer on request.

  4. The holder of the approval must maintain a register of the locations at which the vending machines are located and provide a copy of the register on request by Medicines Control.

  5. The holder of the approval must maintain a register of stock and vending machine incidents and provide a copy of the register on request by Medicines Control.

  6. The approval may be amended or revoked by the Director-General of Health in writing at any time.

  7. The approval expires on 30 May 2013.

Notice of Approval Given Pursuant to Section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004

Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004,

I, Jeremy Salmond, Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 22 December 2011, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and The Honourable Anthony Boyd Williams Ryall, Minister of Health, gave in principle approvals, under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to sections 161(1)(c) and 162 of that Act, for district health boards to borrow and acquire debt securities from Health Benefits Limited in relation to shared banking arrangements for district health boards. These in principle approvals became full approvals on 10 February 2012.
