Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel Recommendations on Canterbury Earthquake (Education Legislation) Order 2012

Pursuant to section 73(6) of the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Act 2011 ("the Act"), the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel Recommendations on the Canterbury Earthquake (Education Legislation) Order 2012.

2. Review Panel recommendation—The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel made the following recommendation under section 73(3) of the Act to the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery and the Minister of Education:

The Review Panel recommends to the Minister of Education that the Order be made.

Amendment to Declaration Notice—Extension of Moratorium on Granting of New Sperm Whale Watching Permits

Pursuant to Regulation 15(3) of the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992, I, Sue Cosford, Deputy Director-General, Operations, Department of Conservation, give notice that I am amending the notice that was given by the then Director-General of Conservation on 30 May 2002 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 June 2002, No. 62, page 1609, by extending its term to 1 August 2012 inclusive.

2. Review Panel recommendation—The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Review Panel made the following recommendation under section 73(3) of the Act to the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery and the Minister Responsible for the Earthquake Commission:

The Review Panel recommends to the Minister Responsible for the Earthquake Commission that the Order be made.

Revocation of Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Inangahua Junction School (3198)

The notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Inangahua Junction School (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 February 2011, No. 19, page 421) is hereby revoked under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.
