Civil Aviation Act 1990

State Sector Act 1988

Notice of Granting of and Variations to Scheduled International Air Service Licences

Pursuant to sections 87N(4) and 87(Q)(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, notice is given that,

Martin Thomas Harold Matthews, Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, has:

• having received an application from All Nippon Airways, of Japan, granted the airline a scheduled international air service licence to offer code-share services to New Zealand for an indefinite term with effect from 22 February 2012; and
• exercised the power conferred by section 87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 to vary the terms of the scheduled international air service licence issued to Japan Airlines to provide that the airline may offer services between New Zealand and Japan as authorised by the Secretary for Transport.
