Civil Aviation Act 1990

State Sector Act 1988

Notice of Variation of Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, I, John William Macilree, Principal Adviser, Aviation in the Ministry of Transport, hereby give notice that the Secretary for Transport has exercised the power conferred by section 87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 to vary the terms of the scheduled international air service licence issued to Asiana Airlines:

(a) to provide for code-share capacity, as filed with the Secretary for Transport, where Asiana Airlines is the marketing carrier in a code-share arrangement; and

(b) remove the requirement to file, with the Secretary for Transport, any proposed increase in a full passenger tariff for approval.

These variations took effect on 23 November 2012.
