Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve and Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise the Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over the recreation reserve described in the Schedule and declares the land may be disposed of by the Wellington City Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserve account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Naming of Reserves—Queenstown Lakes District

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby gives notice that resolutions to the following effect were passed by council on the following dates:

31 July 2012

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 206, DP 357615, Ferry Hill Drive, Wakatipu Basin shall henceforth be known as Ferry Hill Reserve".

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 12, DP 9232, Hopkins Recreation Reserve, Luggate shall henceforth be known as Hopkins Street Reserve".

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 301, DP 326828, Orbell Drive, Lake Hayes Estate shall henceforth be known as Orbell Park".

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 302, DP 333246, Castalia Drive, Lake Hayes Estate shall henceforth be known as Castalia Park".

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 321, DP 379403, Widgeon Place, Lake Hayes Estate shall henceforth be known as Widgeon Park".

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 319, DP 372310, Onslow Road, and Lot 318, DP 372310 Quill Street, Lake Hayes Estate shall henceforth be known as Onslow Reserve".

"That, pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Queenstown Lakes District Council hereby declares that the land vested in the council and described as Lot 301, DP 329180, Mathias Tce, Arthurs Point shall henceforth be known as Herron Park".
