Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993
Declaring Māori Freehold Land to be Included in a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be included in the existing Māori reservation in respect of the land known as Part Lot 2 of Part Subsection 3 of Section 24 Block IV Waitara Survey District (Urenui Pā) containing 3.7585 hectares and being part of the land contained in balance Computer Freehold Register 433565, which was set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a village and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the owners and amended by the taking of an area of road by way of New Zealand Gazette, 9 August 2001, No. 84, page 2178 as amended by a corrigendum published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 August 2007, No. 91, page 2407, whereby the area so taken was amended to 139 square metres.

All that piece of land shown as Section 4 on SO 374912 (Taranaki Land Registry) containing 0.0373 hectares as delineated on digital plan SO 374912, being all of that land.
Redefining the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Reservation is Made
Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the class of persons for whose benefit the Māori Freehold Land described in the Schedule hereto that was set aside as a Māori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 August 2009, No. 124, page 2873, is hereby redefined as the direct descendants of Takerei Te Rangiwaitara and Taaniora Te Wharauroa and the shareholders and their direct descendants of the surrounding land blocks, being sections 7H, 7B1, 7D and 7E Block VII Awakino North Survey District.
