Road Stopped, and Land Acquired and Set Apart—State Highway 2, Western Hutt Road, Petone, Hutt City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portions of road described in the First Schedule to this notice are to be stopped and further, pursuant to section 52, set apart for scenic reserve and shall remain vested in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be set apart for scenic reserve and shall remain vested in the Crown;

(c) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice is acquired for scenic reserve and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of a Notice Relating to Classification of Reserves and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the acting Community Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Classification of Reserve, dated the 15th day of May 2012 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 May 2012, No. 58, page 1699, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the acting Community Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserves described in the Schedule as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.
