Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Further to a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 March 2011, No. 32, page 864, and pursuant to section 87J(6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 28 and 29 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 27 November 2007,

I give notice that having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for Air New Zealand to code-share beyond China to Abu Dhabi as the marketing carrier in a code-share arrangement with a third-country operating carrier, with capacity as filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport.

The variation took effect from 26 April 2011.

Land Transport Act 1998

Authorised Access to Certain Names and Addresses Held on the Motor Vehicle Register

Pursuant to section 241 of the Land Transport Act 1998 (“the Act”), I authorise the following person, for the purpose and the term, and on the conditions stated below, to have access to the names and addresses of persons:

• who are currently registered in respect of a motor vehicle(s); and
• who have not instructed the Registrar of Motor Vehicles to withhold their details.

Conditions

(a) The names and addresses are accessed only by Michael John Campbell on behalf of Advanced Investigations 2004 Limited and solely for Advanced Investigations 2004 Limited’s own use;

(b) The names and addresses are accessed only for the specified purpose;

(c) To access the Motor Vehicle Register, Advanced Investigations 2004 Limited must hold a private investigator licence and Michael John Campbell must hold a certificate of approval under the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010;

(d) The fees charged for the provision of the names and addresses from the Motor Vehicle Register are duly paid;

(e) Any identified instances of unauthorised access are immediately notified to the Secretary for Transport and the Privacy Commissioner;

(f) The names and addresses obtained under this authorisation shall not be disclosed to any third party unless such disclosure is necessarily incidental to achieving the specified purpose;

(g) Before 31 May 2012, Advanced Investigations 2004 Limited must provide the Secretary for Transport with a report providing details of the purpose and the date of each enquiry made in relation to the Motor Vehicle Register during the term of the authorisation; and

(h) Subject to the conditions contained in this notice, Advanced Investigations 2004 Limited must comply with the Motochek Terms and Conditions, available at https://motochek.landtransport.govt.nz/mcpro/default.asp?category=mcpro&service=Terms.
