Instrument Amending Ministerial Direction and Welfare Programmes (No 2) 2011

Pursuant to sections 5 and 124(1)(d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister for Social Development and Employment makes the following instrument.

Instrument

  1. Title—This instrument is the Instrument amending Ministerial Direction and Welfare Programmes (No 2) 2011.

  2. Commencement—This instrument comes into effect on 1 April 2011.

  3. Amendments to direction and welfare programmes— The direction and welfare programmes set out in Schedule 1 are amended in the manner set out in that Schedule.

  4. Amendments to welfare programmes—The welfare programmes set out in Schedule 2 are amended in the manner set out in that Schedule.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the instrument, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This instrument, which comes into effect on 1 April 2011, amends a Ministerial direction and a number of Ministerial welfare programmes under the Social Security Act 1964.

Clause 3 and Schedule 1 adjust certain rates, standard costs, and limits to reflect a 3.75% increase in the
