Notice of Intention to Restore Company to the Register

Companies Act 1993

Take notice that Sutherland Self Help Trust Nominees Limited proposes to restore M & S 1929 LIMITED to the New Zealand Register of Companies, pursuant to sections 328(1)(b) and 328(1)(c) of the Companies Act 1993, on the grounds that M & S 1929 LIMITED was, at the time it was removed from the Register, party to legal proceedings and in liquidation.

Sutherland Self Help Trust Nominees Limited is a creditor of the company.

This application is made by Sutherland Self Help Trust Nominees Limited, whose registered office is at Self Help Limited, 7 Kenwyn Terrace, Newtown, Wellington 6021.

Any person objecting to the restoration of M & S 1929 LIMITED to the Register must deliver his or her objection to The Registrar of Companies, Private Bag 92061, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142, or by facsimile 09 916 4559 or by email to compliance@companies.govt.nz not fewer than 20 working days from the date of this notice.

COMBINED INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA (“the company”) has given notice to Public Trust that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 12 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with Public Trust.

Public Trust therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 12 of the Act, that, being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, it proposes to release to the company on or after 18 April 2011, the amount deposited with Public Trust by the company.
