Notice of Granting a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87N(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, notice is given that, having received an application from China Southern Airlines, of Guangzhou, China, Martin Matthews, Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of Transport, has granted the airline a scheduled international air service licence to carry on scheduled services for an indefinite term with effect from 8 March 2011.

Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87J(3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41 and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, I give notice that having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled international air service licence held by that airline in order to provide for the right to code-share beyond China to Abu Dhabi as the marketing carrier in a code-share arrangement with a third-country operating carrier, with capacity as filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport.
