Classification of Reserve, Vesting of Reserve in Marlborough District Council, and Declaration That Two Reserves be United to Form One Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, classifies the reserve described in the First Schedule, as a local purpose (site for a public hall) reserve and further, vests the reserve in the Marlborough District Council and declares that the reserves described in the First and Second Schedules shall be united to form one reserve.

Redefining the Purpose and Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit the Māori Reservation is Set Apart

Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the purpose of the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been set apart as a Māori reservation by a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 31 March 1960, No. 22, page 411, is hereby redefined as being for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngāti Ahiwaru tribe and related subtribes to be known as Puketapapa.
